Kele is originally from Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, and started his aviation career as a mechanic apprentice learning the aviation business from the maintenance side. He learned to fly during high school, and like Alan, soloed on his 16th birthday, but unlike Alan, didn't miss any school that day. He continued to pursue his ratings through college. He is currently flying a Beech 1900 and Shorts 330, flying cargo interisland. He enjoys flight instructing and glider flying during his free time. His position on the team varies on a day-to-day basis, doing what needs to get done.
